happy b-day wolfie!
I'm really very bad at this lj thing these days. I haven't posted since getting back from my last trip on Monday and I'm already packed and ready to leave again. Then again, 3 days turn around time isn't that much.
Today I am off to Swmboland! I am so very, very excited about this trip. For one, it's an all major expenses paid visit to my sweetie. I get a whole weekend with my Bo to drink coffee, eat cheese and snuggle. For another, on Monday and Tuesday I will be interviewing for the one job in all the world that I *really* want - a tenure track faculty position in a Linguistics department that would include the money and access to technology I need to pursue my research goals. I'm insanely stressed out about it, cause it matters so much. But Bo will hold my hand and help me dye my roots and pick the right outfits and it will be fine.
Sorry that I've been so lousy at keeping track of what's up with all of you - I've done nothing but make powerpoint slides and figures for the past 3 days. I will get Swm to give me an update on what all you've been doing. Perhaps with sock puppets and funny voices.
