After trying 5 different recipes I finally found one that worked. That's right: I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY MADE ANKO!!!! (sweet been paste, just an fyi... yeah)

Which I then made DORAYAKI with! (mini pancake sandwich type things with the bean paste inbetween... 'nother fyi)

And whaddya know? It tastes like pancakes with some sweet paste inbetween them. ( Read more... )
