I know it's important to do these:
1. My immediate family - they've got nothing but love and my best interests at heart - I have a positive space to come home to every night, and people who want to share my day with me.
2. My friends - they're willing to listen, willing to let me be me, and don't get too pissed off when I don't return phone calls in a timely matter. They're willing to share their lives with me as well.
3. Plymouth Spiritualist Church - finally, a church that jives with what I believe.
4. The ability to continually learn - it means I can make choices and be who I want to be, where I want to be and that the world is my oyster.
5. Potential/Hope - there is more to come...
6. Hobbies - without a day of music or words I'd go nuts - I can't imagine life without either
7. Two legs, two arms, two eyes and the rest of my anatomical parts; while others do better with fewer, I'm still grateful to have all of mine
8. The ability to express my opinions - favorable or unfavorable as they may be
9. running water - oh yes, who could argue?
10. A future step-son who loves me enough to sometimes slip up and call me 'mom'
