tamago. I didn't lift a finger to preserve *any* pluots this year despite my normal love for them, because the pluot stalls are always rather busy and I've been tired when I shop, so this jam, a wonderful consistency and balance of sweet and tart, is a particular treasure. GF English

Now I want to start making up fruit. Have you tried bananalets yet? How about rangpur limes?

I do admit that my logical brain gets cranky about fruit that is named after a fruit it completely is not, such as the aforementioned rangpur lime, which is orange in color and not I believe descended from any actual limes. It does taste more limelike than anything but I think it's a variant mandarin.
