We're playing a gig at Trof on Thomas Street in the Northern Quarter tonight, if anybody wishes to attend. There will be us, complete with Little Drummer Scott and the newly-Poled up Seb, Billy Ruffian and April the Girl playing some of her Spice Girls and Boyzone CDs afterward.

Yes, I went to a party on Saturday. Yes, I wore a toga. No, I don't know why either. Pictures hopefully not to follow.

I got over £1,000 of back-dated pay on top of my wages on Friday. £750 went straight out though... for 'tax'. What a joy.

So apparenty Jade Goody is not racist, she's merely "ignorant". Back in the day, these two things could mean the same thing, but now, evidently, they do not.

So, working on the basis that a) they don't mean exactly the same thing and b) that being ignorant is necessarily better, one question I must ask is how can someone so fat be ignorant of Indian ( Read more... )

Things are going remarkably well for once; the band has some amazing gigs, work is increasingly more tolerable and this song is beautiful.
