riding habit progress
It's not major progress, but I basted together the back and fronts with the false waistcoat to check the fit. I don't think it needs any adjustments (always a relief), but I do think it will fit smoother once I press and topstitch the seams. So that's next and then the skirts. What you are seeing is the red false-waistcoat fronts, blue wool jacket body with cut-away fronts, a little bit of the corset peeking out at the bottom, and the habit shirt. The pale blue skirt is an under-petticoat of polished cotton. Progress feels good!
