Riding Habit Progress

Mar 02, 2016 12:38

I finished the waistcoat fronts that will be inserted in my riding habit jacket as a false-waistcoat. My inspiration jacket does this and I thought it a good way to get done sooner and reduce bulk and warm layers. I used almost the whole 20 meter spool of silk buttonhole twist on the button holes. They took a long time too, so hopefully I'll have faster progress for awhile (until I get to the jacket buttonholes!). I've seamed the sleeves and am working on the mariner cuffs. I also stitched the center-back, so I should have progress pictures soon!
