My First show alone at the skatepark. I am no stranger to this place though, almost every saturday for two years or so now has been spent here. So this was kind of like coming home. A home with really loud skateboarding and people yelling. The whole show had a really good vibe, I volunteered to play last, but the show kept up a pritty good pace. I had watched bits and pieces of most people's sets and talked to meredith, brian, mikey, and a bunch of other people to try and keep from getting ancy(don't know if I spelled that right, I don't think I've ever tried to spell it before.) anyways I watched Drew Danburry's set all the way through and was really blown away, he was super fun to watch. more bands, rushmoore finished up their last set ever and then it was time for me to go on.

I debuted a new song first, which is always scary, and on top of that I started playing it and my d-string just decided to drop a few whole steps(tuning). I fixed it up and played the new song(I think I'm going to call the song "everything is Bob"{this has meaning I'm not just weird[depends on who you are asking]} I added multiple Butch Walker rip offs to my set like playing demos off my keyboard in between songs and playing rap songs. I decided to be silly and counter-act how ticked off some of us were about a hip-hop/hardcore show trying to compete with us down the street by playing a hip-hop medley including big poppa by Notorious B.I.G., Ms. Jackson by Outkast, and transitioned out with Seal's kiss from a rose as heard in Batman Forever. Then it happened. Paul from Rushmoore did the ineveitable "hey can I say something on the mic" face. I knew it wouldn't go well, but decided to ok it anyways. I preceded to play along with the jingle bells demo on guitar while he was talking, but he told the crowd Rushmoore would be giving away merch out by their van. this translates to "hey everybody, ignore this dude playing right now and come outside with us." this was pritty dumb, but most of the people that went with them probably didn't care about me playing anyways. I kept on keeping on though. I had a really good time and I thought I played decent. People had lots of nice things to say about it either in person or online.
