That was a really good episode. I loved Frank, the government agency guy that Bobby sent the boys to. lmao, Sam's face when he gave him a new laptop. hahahaha Loved Jared and his weird expressions. Dean/Impala! "Nobody puts Baby in the corner" and singing that cheesy love song (kinda) stealthily. hahahaha That whole part was priceless. Oh, and Mr. and Mr. Smith!? ♥ HAHAHA AND LEVIATHAN!DEAN LIKED DEAN'S HAIR MORE :DDDDDDDDD The Bobby and Jody (aka Sheriff Mills) storyline made me squee so bad! I love them!! Seeing Bobby so vulnerable was new and different, as well as getting more info on his background. Hunters always have such dark and tragic pasts D; And I wish Jody had stayed at the end, but at least they found out how to kill the Leviathans :DDDDDDDD
Okay, got the good and funny parts down, or at least the ones I can remember from the top of my head. Now onto the serious side of the episode. THOSE LEVIATHANS ARE GENIUSES! Crafty SOB's. The bank scene at the beginning was horrifying, but that was the point I guess. Leviathan!Dean winking into the camera gave me chills. But I have to say, I so prefer badass/evil!Winchesters over mopey, alcoholic ones; they're just so hot when they're evil. That part where they both talked into the camera and winking? I thought they were gonna start stripping and making out................ totally inappropriate, but I honestly thought it was a start of a porno. Oh goodness XD
Anyways, serious. Yeah. When Leviathan!Dean went into the interrogation room where Sam was sitting alone, I was busy finishing my drawing so I wasn't paying enough attention, but then I totally gasped when L!D revealed to Sam the Amy thing. My brother was all "YOU DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING!?" so I was all "SHUT UP I CAN'T FOCUS ON SHADING AND JENSEN'S SEXY VOICE AT THE SAME TIME OKAY!?" But that's that. I think Jared's got the watery, glisten-y, puppy eyes down pat now. Honestly, how many times has he busted those puppies (pun or no pun?) out now, and we're only 6 episodes in. It's not even like the other seasons, this one adds the heartbreaking "I just got stabbed in the heart and I'm scared and broken, but I gotta be strong" sentiment to it, and it's seriously making me wanna punch everything that puts the look on his face.
I was dreading the end because I didn't know how he was going to react, but then he pulls the "You've been lying to me" card and I knew he was going to leave. Is he pissed that Dean killed Amy? Or was it the part where Dean wouldn't share and did it behind his back and lied to him about it? I'm guessing it's the latter. Honestly, I would be so upset with my brother if he had kept that from me. It just proves that he doesn't trust me enough, and he betrayed my trust, after I expressed my gratitude for not killing something I didn't want killed. And I kept reaching out to him to get him to just talk to me, only to have him keep rejecting me over and over again. Sam just walking away? That's so much more than I would have been able to do. He didn't really say anything all that hurtful, just that Dean lied to him and he's pissed.
My brother said he was glad Sam walked away from this (though it was towards a dock, so i don't really know where he's going............. however, did you guys notice how pretty and vibrant this season is compared to like... Seasons 4-6? The blue of the water was gorgeousssss!!!) because it was either that or Dean gets punched in the face. He says it's better for guys to just walk away to cool off and think it through, so. There's that, I guess. The scene was extremely reminiscent of "Scarecrow," but this time Dean had no choice but to let Sam go, since there really wasn't much he could argue at that point. His "I'm sorry, Sam" broke my heart, though.
I don't think Sam's abandoning Dean because honestly, they can't leave each other, so idk why people are whining or raging or rolling their eyes going, "Ugh, Sam's leaving Dean again. Poor Dean." I just think it's one of those times where, like Sam said, you can't be around the person who hurt you because you honestly just can't. Sam has to take his things because it's either that or suffer the car ride back to the motel or go to another motel and he'd never be able to get his much needed space since THEY'RE ALWAYS TOGETHER.
We (as in viewers) all knew it would be worse if Sam found out before Dean came to him about it. /sighs But the previews show Sam and Dean back together next week (duh, I know) so let's see how the writers clean this up. I have a feeling Sam's gonna think it through, come back, talk it out with Dean, and then forgive him because that's what they should do, and it sounds like something Season 7 Sam would do. He's just hoping Dean could at least open up and reciprocate once in awhile, which is both the healthy and smart thing to do, but Dean is too guilt-ridden about everything, so. /shrugs You never know. Sam could just come back because they have a serious case of the Leviathans they still need to take care of........ God, I hate freaking 9pm. TIME, Y U NO SLO DOWN!?
So in conclusion, I support Sam walking away. :D
