⌈ 002 ⌋ 6x22 - The Man Who Knew Too Much

While I was watching, I didn't have the "What!? I don't get it?" reaction. Then I had the weekend to digest it, and I can truly say I still don't. I just accepted it and was pissed about a cliffhanger because I needed Season 7 immediately, and I still stand by it. haha I'm sure there are plenty of reviews already, so I'm not going to recap anything, but there's one thing I want to address. This was my reply to a review that I read.

On Castiel being "God": I'm not so sure Cas declaring himself "God" means that he is God. I would assume, personally, that Castiel is just proclaiming it now, assuming the role all on his own, since he's all power-hungry and on whacko soul!juice. I wouldn't bet on Cas being ACTUAL God now. You get me? That would be my approach towards it, seeing that RealGod doesn't want much to do with what goes on in the world, so now Castiel is going to be doing it in his place. He feels so powerful that he thinks, WHY NOT? lol

Again, I commend the authors were taking this risky route, knowing how much people love Castiel. But I love it! I mean, Supernatural is about Sam, Dean, and the Impala (...and Bobby) after all. The additional Angel was awesome for three seasons. But ultimately, it seems that anyone other than Bobby, anyone who's a supernatural being, has the tendency to turn around and screw the boys over. At the core of it all, it should be about Sam and Dean, in my opinion, against the world.

I'm not so sure what I want Castiel's fate to be, I love him still, no doubt about it, but what he's turned into and what he will be doing with his powers isn't something Sam and Dean can ignore. lol, They weren't scared of Lucifer or Michael, and Dean wasn't even scared of God too much. Dean's faced Death how many times now? IDEK. All I know is they're not going to let Castiel get away with this. Somehow.

... Will the RealGod please stand up? (Sorry, I couldn't help myself.)

Oh, and since I loved it so much, it bears repeating. JARED PLAYING ALL THREE SAM'S WAS AWESOME. Best performance from him I've ever seen. It even beat out Withdrawal!Sam in 4x21 When the Levee Breaks. Still gushing over Hell!Sam's portrayal. ♥ Anyways, can't wait for Season 7. I hate hellatus. I really do.
