Contains spoilers for 6x20 & 6x21.
I only watched 1/2 of Supernatural and totally skipped the rest to watch the Mavs take on the Lakers and BEAT THEM. 3-0? WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?! All odds were against the Mavs, and I mean ALL ODDS, but they totally showed their determination and strong will, and now we're only one game away from sweeping the two-time defending champions. I have to say, it was definitely worth it to forgo tonight's episode for the game. I was so nervous I got lightheaded there at the end. DIRK NOWITZKI AKA SWISH41: YOU ARE MY HERO. ♥ GO MAVS!
OK, now that my excitement has been written down, onto the Supernatural episode, or the 1/2 that I watched.
This arc is very much like the Sam/Ruby arc, and for some reason, I don't really feel anything. I understand Castiel's need to join forces with Crowley, like how I understood Sam turning to Ruby, because both times, neither boys had Dean. Though I have to say, Cas not going to Dean is pretty... foolish. The Winchester 's Patented Self-sacrifice has sort of rubbed off onto Castiel. That just makes me resent the whole "apple-pie life" even more. But I do feel for Cas though. His torn loyalty is so hard to watch. Crowley is as dickish and awesome as ever, and how creative it is of him (SPN has some satirical writers, man) to turn Hell into an eternity of waiting in line. Worst. Punishment. Ever.
Finally, I just have to say that 6x21 is going to be... torture. I just hope this gives Dean closure on Lisa & Ben once and for all because I am so over it. SO FUCKING OVER IT.
