Record of an Oddly Disturbing Dream
On the side of a cliff in the middle of nowhere there is a man holding on. He's wearing some sort of boots. On the front of these boots, hundreds of long random spike protrude. The spikes dig into the side of the cliff, helping the man cling to this vertical ledge.
Around the man and the cliff is nothingness. No apparent place to climb to, just a white smokey void. Even the man himself is quite plain. No color, just a grayish figure. Almost as if he were made from clay.
The man is climbing to his left, but every few feet he stops and screams in absolute pain. The scream is excruciating, emphasizing the agony the man must be feeling.
Thats when the creature on his back becomes visible. Just like the man, the creature is devoid of color. It practically blends into his back, but there it is. Consisting of only a pair of small arms to hold onto the man with and a whip like tail, Its as if the creatures only reason to exist is to torture the man. On the end of its tail is what looks like a spearhead. Every few seconds the creature's tail whips out and stabs the man in the spine, Causing him to let out another horrible scream.
The man just keeps climbing left. And every so often the creature stabs again, forcing the man to stop and cry out in pain. After awhile, the man can't hold on any longer and falls. But instead of falling into the void he lands only a few feet down from the cliff. Having to no longer hang on, he removed the creature from his back. It falls to the ground as if it just died as a cause of the separation.
A sense of relief can be felt. finally the man is free of his torture. He stands over the creature for only a second like he's studying it. Suddenly a stream of yellow acid (for lack of a better word) shoots out of the creature and right through the man's head. The man collapses. And I wake up...
