I got my hair shortened again! I love it, except that the lady got a little nuts with the clippers to the point of removing the SKIN ON MY NECK but the red is fading and it doesn't feel any worse than, say, a slight sunburn. Sigh ( Read more... )

I return!

Pretty much my life is fabulous. I am now a team lead at work, with a four-day 40-hour work week. Also, apparently a customer wrote corporate to tell them how incredibly groovy I was when I helped them. :o So the airport and my managers will be giving me presents, no lie. I feel cool now.

Also! new haircut.

Didn't get as much done today as I'd hoped--I actually think I need to get more shelves and drawer units before I try to unpack a ton of stuff because I have nowhere to put most of my stuff. How many hours of Antiques Roadshow would one have to watch in a 24-hour period before it's actually a problem? And, uh, is it worse if you sometimes call your mother from the next room because "YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS IT'S THE COOLEST THING EVER THERE'S A POCKET WATCH MADE OF COINS HURRY UP YOU'LL MISS IT!"?
