1) The stupid, pointless lien is still on the house, but they've supposedly filed the paperwork to remove it, because there is no reason for them to have one. I am still angry. In my never-ending quest to get enough sleep, for the past few months I have been making myself step away from my computer/iPad/phone at night and read in bed (on my Kindle, but its backlight doesn't mess with my brain and make me stay up late). I never had the honor of meeting Terry Pratchett, and I certainly wasn't one of his friends or family, and I'm sure that gives me the distance to feel this bigger sense of loss than just of the person at his death.
