This is not the July 4th you're looking for.

Due to Weather Issues, our local Fourth of July festivities have all been canceled or postponed, turning what was supposed to be a busy outdoor day with people into a quiet rainy day at home. I have a massive headache and also nearly fainted this morning for no apparent reason, and the museling is wiped from a long week of camp, so being at home ( Read more... )

Oh, I'll just distill down all of my very complicated feelings and thoughts into one polite, non-intrusive, hopefully thoughtful and meaningful enough that he hears it instead of it being lost in the blur like it surely will be sentence of thanks and appreciation, like I did when I met Darren a couple of years ago. He's made an impact on me, and I think he's pretty darn special, but I kind of don't expect him to care about it. :) But I do want to tell him that I really enjoy watching him do all these things he loves to do, so I'll say that, hope I get a smile, and move on.

But man, if we could have an actual conversation as equals? We would have so much to talk about. :)

I think it's great that you're bringing a student along and are still finding a way to express yourself. I know you have a lot to say and that he's meant a lot to you. :)

I think it's great how much he's changed your life in such wonderful ways. :) I do think you'll get more than six seconds; from what I hear, when people come with kids they get more attention, and a kid with a learning disability plus you as a teacher is an exciting combo for him. :)

ADAM LAAAAAAAAMBERT!!!

Man, I feel like CRAP. I came THIS close to passing out while in washing my hair in the shower this morning (including blacking out around the edges, losing my sense of hearing, and having to crumple in a controlled fall to the floor), and I just haven't been able to come out of it. I'm lying down now and will try to nap my way out of it.

Burlington isn't Western MA! I don't even think it counts as Metro West! But I do take your point that it's outside of 128, yes. There would be buses there to the mall, but I'm sure it would be a huge pain to get there for you. :(

*hugs*

I don't know. My best guess is that the shower was somehow too hot, given that I had it cranked up to work out a knot in my neck. I haven't fainted in years, but boy do I not enjoy it.
