stories and ponderings

Have been updating my website, at a rate of about one page per day, and now I'm done. Well, until I write something else, which right now sounds like a very compelling argument to never write anything again ever. This is, apparently, what I have to show for the first six months of the year:

Episode One: The Quiet Padawan (12,700 words). A spirited young student and a world-weary Jedi master are equally determined that they have no interest in each other. Star Wars/Heyer fusion. website || livejournal: one, two

the other desert (2,100 words). Sam disappears. Dean goes to find him. R. Supernatural, Sam/Dean. website || livejournal

the importance of counting to one hundred (100 words). Supernatural drabble, Sam/Dean. website || livejournal

plus all the kissing meme snippets:

Field trip (700 words). SGA/Due South, Sheppard/Kowalski. website || livejournal
Important scientific discovery (300 words). SGA, Sheppard/McKay. website || livejournal
Incorporeality (200 words). Highlander/Dresden Files, Methos/Bob. website || livejournal
A regrettable omission (400 words). Highlander/Good Omens, Methos/Aziraphale. website || livejournal
Sweetest (230 words). Eroica, Klaus/Dorian. website || livejournal
Temptation (350 words). Good Omens/Arthurian legend, Crowley/Lancelot. || livejournal
Masterminds (300 words). SGA/Smallville, Rodney McKay/Lex Luthor. website || livejournal
Summer holiday (600 words). SGA/Numb3rs, John Sheppard/Don Eppes. website || livejournal
A different story (350 words). Harry Potter, Remus/Sirius. || livejournal
Comparatively simple (500 words). Jeeves & Wooster, Jeeves/Wooster. website || livejournal
No country for old men (150 words). Highlander/Vampire Chronicles, Methos/Marius. website || livejournal

Feels kind of lame. I want to make July my month of actually finishing WIPs, provided my left arm doesn't fall off. (It's feeling much better, really. I just don't want to jinx it.)

Also, I have to do something about my website. I say that every time I update it and then I repress forget until next time. I need to come up with a way to make it more streamlined, both easily navigable and easily updated, I just can't think of the best way to streamline 260 stories in 35 fandoms (thirty-five fandoms, what kind of freak writes stories in thirty-five fandoms? There must be something wrong with me). It all feels so untidy. Maybe I should just accept it as an online reflection of my offline self, but if anyone should happen to have any brilliant organizational ideas, please feel free to share.
