About twenty minutes away from my Observation: Thinking Like A Detective lecture and I'm getting a little anxious. New plan for observations! I think I may have them watch the whole movie on the day they bring in rough drafts for the first essay. It would be sort of a nice break for them and a way to segue into observations. I plan to ask for notes on the things that they observe during the film and the elements that stand out to them.
