Life Infused in a Sunday Afternoon
Auditioned for Lend Me a Tenor this afternoon. Strange. I read once. That's it. And at three the director dismissed us because he had other people coming in for call-backs from the earlier audition last week. He didn't ask any of us to stay. Odd.
Just before I left though, he had me come sit next to him and told me that he was aware I only read once and he didn't want me to feel cheated, and he did really like what he did hear, and my resume was impressive, and I was under consideration for the role I want. It almost sounded like he had heard good things about me or that there was something else he knew and therefore didn't need to hear me read anymore.
Anyways. I'm not expecting anything of it, but it looked like a good script and I'm dying to be doing something again. Life is so dull without theatre.
Afterwards I went with Matt and Krista for a drink (LOVE HER!) and we talked about theatre and drama and sex and life and it was all good.
