holidays.
the holiday season always seems to bring out the best &worst in people. you value things a lot more &express yourself more. for years my father, step mom &little brothers have been coming over, as well as my older [100% related] brother. every year it gets more &more awkward. my father knows i hate him for what he did &how he acts, but yet we crack jokes &shrug it off for those one-two hours a year i see him. he'll pretend like he knows me &cares, but twatever.
i'm so thankful for my friends to make up for the lack of family i have. i'm still being that optomistic son-of-a i was trying to make myself into. looking on the bright side every day. i havn't been down in a while, which is damn good. work sucks, i passed my first semester of college &i'm growing up. the real world scares me, but i think i'm ready.
