Yeah, I know. It's been awhile.

A lot of shit has been going on. Hmmm where to begin.

I got a new car. I got a 1998 Honda Civic. It's really cool and has everything I wanted, (CD player, kick ass stereo, 4 doors, automatic transmission, CUPHOLDERS!!! and power locks and windows).

I still have the old one. It's for sale if anyone wants it. It's a good station car (1989 Honda Accord, 4 door) and has 100K+ miles on it. Asking price is $500.

I've been working pretty steadily, as is evident by the amount of 10 trip LIRR tickets I have used up. All I need to do now is get paid regularly. I'm getting there though. My first "paying" job I got paid a wooping $25 a day for 12+ hours a day with a $25 bonus for my hard work - thanks Ron :)

In August I will be a Production Assistant on the "Pied Piper of Manhattan." I'm very happy to say I will be making $85 a day and working with a really cool crew.

I'm trying to get experience as an Assistant Director. The first film I ADed was a finalist for the Asian American Film Festival 64 Hour Shootout. (We were given a theme - Hide and Seek - and given 64 hours to make the film). I was very happy to say we finished filming 2 hours ahead of schedule.

So far I've worked on one straight to video feature, three short films and one comedy sketch show pilot. I personally think I'm doing pretty good considering this is the alleged "off-season." However, I'm still looking for work everyday I can. I've been sending out at least 3 resumes a day.

Otherwise I've been adding to this long to do list for the summer. I wanted to go to Boston (it doesn't look as if that will be happening), Six Flags, Fire Island and to see Shakespeare in the Park. I do not think at this point any of that will be happening because I have bills to pay, low income and everytime I'm free, my friends aren't.

Cerissa is in danger of being deported. The new Immigration regulations state that she has to find a job that requires her major that is willing to sponsor her for the next few years. Unfortunately her major was TV and most jobs don't last past 6 weeks let alone a few years. The only other choice she has is to marry someone. ATTENTION ANY MEN OUT THERE!!! WE NEED YOU TO MARRY AN ATTRACTIVE CARIBBEAN WOMAN FOR THREE YEARS!!! Room and board provided. No sex, it is just a green card marriage.

I would hate it if Cerissa got thrown out. First Alyssa moved back home to Washington State and to have Cerissa go too would suck major ass.

Otherwise there is not much else going on. I think I'm finally starting to be an adult. I am turning 22 in a few weeks and have been trying to support myself. Yes, I still live at home with my parents but I'm staying on top of things. I recently started paying my own car insurance and got life insurance (my car insurance rate went down if I got life insurance). I have been good with my credit cards, especially with paying them off in a timely fashion. I'm taking care of myself. I have been walking 3 miles a day, whenever I'm not working or passed out from working the night before. I think I'm starting to find balance. I'm not saying I've gotten everything together, but I'm getting there. :)
