In other news, we caught the early showing of Thor yesterday. Fun flick, though I'd delete Natalie Portman entirely if I had the opportunity. I spent much of the movie being amused by the casting.( This is only funny if you're familiar with the characters of Roger Zelazny's Amber series )

I will say, at no time past age 12 have I ever believed in the idea of a wild west in space. Any culture critically dependent for people's lives on complicated technology needs to be more controlled and rule-abiding, not less.
