Ghost Story, the 13th book in Jim Butcher's Dresden Files series,* comes out today. The books have been sitting in our back room at work with a "Strict on Sale - Do Not Open before 7/26/2011" notice taped to the box. The proximity vs prohibition struggle has been driving several of the staff slightly buggy for the last few days. Now, the wait is over.**
Our store received two dozen copies of the book. Of these, six are on hold to fill advance reservations. Two of the reserved copies are for customers. The other four are for employees. This amuses me.
