Things that make me happy
It's master's paper crunch time here, that, combined with job-hunting, is starting to slowly crush my spirits. To counter that, here's a list of things that made me happy this week:
EDIT: Things that did not make me happy include LJ randomly cutting off most of the post. Sorry, it is fixed now.
- The weather was absolutely perfect.
- Yesterday, I ran into a band of roving acappella singers on campus.
- Today I took my car in for an oil change and inspection. At 275k miles, all it needs are new brake pads and possibly a replacement for the original factory radiator hoses. 20 years old and still going strong! Honda makes some durable cars.
- Those brake pads? I have driven 48k miles on pads warrantied for 30k. My drive habits are vindicated!
- My awesome boyfriend bought me frozen vegetables, since I am too busy to shop. Also, he is willing to put up with my generally neurotic state.
- CSS 3 supports rounded corners. (Yes, I am a dork.)
