 so, i failed again.  I made a video for this thing called Film Kitchen, I think i mentioned it--anyways, it was a contest, two people made videos for one audio track and one of the videos is going to be shown.  Mine isn't going to be shown.

well, today was the day that the princeton poetry contest finally annouced its winners.  I was not one of them.  Welcome to failure, my mind quietly said as I tried to comprehend my absence on the winners list.  An honorable mention would have sufficed, but I got none.
