“Why do they have to make these buildings like mazes?” Eric complained and
crumbled the map to a small ball.

“Eric?” Ryan turned from his desk to face his visitor. “What are you doing
here?”

“Getting lost. So…. this is your class room.”
“Yep.”
“Where’s that TA you talked about? Did she leave you alone?”
“No, I said she could leave early. We had just theory today, so I didn’t really
need her.”
“How was it?”
“Good, actually. Better than I thought it would be.”

“How are the students?”
“Exactly what you would expect them to be.” Ryan smiled.
“Yeah, I saw a huge bunch of them running out of here.”
“That’s what they usually do when the class is over.”
“You know, coming here really makes me wonder…”
“About what?”

“Why didn’t I have any hot teachers? The closest thing I had was Mrs.
Williams.”
“How was she?”
“She was pretty hot. Unfortunately that was twenty years before I was
born. Anyway, I was thinking we could celebrate your first day.”
“Sounds good. What did you have in mind?”

“Right now… food. Italian?”
“Okay, but don’t make a show with your spaghetti like you did last time.”
“It was a normal mistake! Anyone could have done that.”
“Right… Even the little girl in the next table was laughing.”

“Do you want to eat or not?”
“Lead the way.”

-----------------------------------------------------------------

“Are teachers allowed to drink?” Eric teased and took a sip from his own
wine glass. “When I was a kid, I always thought teachers came to school
and then went away, and that was all.”

“You know what they say about teachers?”
“Not really.”
“I read a quite about it somewhere… Some elderly teacher said that her life
had always been limited. When she was young she was always afraid to go
to restaurants because she was scared she would run into her teachers.
When she was older she couldn’t go to restaurants because she always
ran into her students.”

“How tragic.” Eric deadpanned.
“Isn’t it… Have you decided what you want?”
“Anything except spaghetti.”

-----------------------------------------------------------------

“I`m exhausted.” Ryan groaned when he fell down on his bed.

“I can tell you why.” Eric leaped next him. “You kept walking back and
forth in the living room till three in the morning.”
“I was nervous. But it was good.”
“Yeah?”
“Different, but good. And it’s a nice feeling to have some reason to get
up in the morning.
“And you have a good reason to go to bed in the evening. Or in the
afternoon.”

“Are you just talking or do you wanna fool around?” Ryan smirked.
“I’m just talking about how much I wanna fool around with you.”

“Good answer.”

-----------------------------------------------------------------

“Babe, you awake?” Eric whispered.

“I am now…” Ryan groaned sleepily and tried to pull his pillow over his face.
“I want something to eat.”
“Then go raid the fridge and let me sleep.”
“I cant, you’re sleeping on top of me.”
“Oh right… sorry.” Ryan moved to the other side of the bed.

“You want something?” Eric asked when he pulled himself up.
“How can you be hungry? When we came back from the restaurant you said
you were about to burst.”
“That was hours ago, I’m hungry.”

“Fine, I’ll get up, but I expect this to be handled as a satirical commentary.”
“What?”
“Forget it. Remember that saying about courage that wakes in the middle of
the night? I have an internal, long winded cynic, that wakes up when I’m not
allowed to sleep.”

“You can go back to bed if you want to.” Eric opened the fridge and took a good
look at it’s content. Suddenly a pair of arms snaked tightly around his waist, and
Ryan pressed his body against Eric’s back.

“I’m awake now. There’s some leftover Chinese… You remember what day’s
tomorrow?”
“Tuesday?”
“Your day off, and I don’t have any classes before afternoon. We could take the
food to the bed, and when the food’s gone I could do some taste sampling
on you.”

“I’ll stuck these to the microwave, it’ll just take a minute.”
“Good, you’ll handle the Chinese, I’ll get the chocolate sauce.”
“Chocolate sauce with Chinese?”

“No, with you. I’ll see you in bed.” Ryan grinned.
