32 and Almost a Daddy
I had a wonderful 32nd birthday today. Annie got me a Weber grill and I also got some gifts from the in-laws that were great. I also received so many messages from friends, it felt fantastic. I really appreciate everyone in my life.
Still, the gift I am most looking forward to is my son. I feel him move every night before going to sleep. Last night I think he had the hiccups because he kept on moving so suddenly and so often.
We're at 34 weeks and 2 days, so if Annie goes into labor now, the doctors will let it happen. The pregnancy has gone very smoothly, and Annie was able to make it through her whole school year without having to do bedrest or reduced work schedule.
Everything really did fall perfectly into place and now we're in the home stretch. I can't believe it's so close but another month still feels like too long to wait. I just want to hold him in my arms right now.
