The other cool thing that I did yesterday was go with S to a "Meet and Make" event for People Spread Love. The idea behind PSL is that there's enough bad stuff going on in the world and that people who are already in bad times could use some love, a sense that they're cared for. Now that I've upgraded my license, I can take part in NPOTA, or "National Parks on the Air." It's an activity that the ARRL is doing in conjunction with the US National Park Service in celebration of the latter's 100th anniversary. The weather took a break yesterday so we got to spend a little time in Grand Teton National Park. It's a very pretty place, even if many of the access roads are closed this late in the year.
