I just ordered a memory foam pad for my bed yesterday. Today, I got the email that the order's been shipped and I noticed the following little bit:

Beds are not always only for sleeping. It is important to consider that moving around on hands or knees on a memory-foam mattress is different from more standard mattresses. Knees will sink a lot ( Read more... )

...whether or not I should bring a guitar with me to Wyoming? I know that I can carry it on the plane with me and have it shoved in the closet. If I wasn't bringing my ham radio gear I could get all my clothes into a small carry-on and then check the guitar (don't give me that look; I check my guitar all the time when I fly. I've tried Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses. If they got significantly better they'd rise to the level of horrible.

On the bright side, I have sushi for lunch, and it's tasty!

The other day out for a hike in Grand Teton National Park we saw bears crossing the trail! Yes, multiple bears, a sow and two cubs. They were crossing the trail ahead. I'd guess that they were within the 100 yard recommended distance, but not by much ( Read more... )

I'd forgotten what it was like being on the phone until 2:30 in the morning when I have to get up at 8 the next day.
