A year in first lines
As is my custom for the past few years, here are the first lines of each month's first public blog posting of 2017, in order. To those reading on the LJ side, these links go to DW. As with last year, there's one that's not actually a first line, but it IS the first public entry.

- January: Last night, S and I finally saw Rogue One.
- February: More specifically, Rivers of London. The Hanging Tree, the latest novel in Ben Aaronovitch's series was *finally* released in the United States on January 31st.
- March:
- April: I won't be deleting the LJ side of things since I have a permanent account and I'll continue to crosspost (assuming that crossposting still works), but I'm probably no longer going to read the LJ side nor reply to comments on it.
- May: I just ordered a memory foam pad for my bed yesterday.
- June: OK, we need some more beautiful things in the world.
- July: Only four more hours until the weekend.
- August: At some point, the OK symbol of making a circle with your thumb and forefinger and holding the other three fingers out became an alt-right symbol?
- September: I'm going to be working in Baltimore for the next bit of time.
- October: Another week in Baltimore down.
- November: No, really, I'm still alive.
- December: Eye exam achievement: unlocked
