That time of year again

Nov 29, 2017 14:35

Yes, it's that time of year again, the time that decorations magically appear everywhere and horrible, horrible versions of Christmas music are played *everywhere* you go. The airport. The stores. The place I go to get lunch. Thankfully, nobody has actually decorated my desk (but that's because I don't sit along the corridor; there's an uncoiled wreath of fake evergreen there). Thankfully there's no PA system here to play 'seasonal music" or I'd work from my hotel room every day.

I don't mind people celebrating Christmas, I really don't. I just kind of wish that they'd remember that not all of us celebrate it or really have any interest in celebrating it.
