So we (the lab techs) are getting more bench space at work! This is like the equivalent of getting a nicer desk/cubicle, but with the added bonus of less likelihood of chemicals dropping on your head as you crouch under working scientists to access your R&D inventory. Reasons why this last summer was possibly the best one I've had in college: I found a place to live well ahead of time. And it is a room in a gorgeous house, with a (still!) very nice family.
