Yesterday was my 20th anniversary. WoW. I don't really think I ever thought we'd make it this far. Especially not with the drama of year 8. But here we are and we're still having fun and long talks and all of it. It's really quite amazing.

Today, I am the answer to life, the universe and everything. The magical 42. I had to work, (which was not the plan, I was supposed to have this entire week off...then I got fired) but it was a great day. Got some prezzies - pink headset from Skullcandy (so skulls, too!) - some cash, a lot of love....and I am 100% recycled awesome.

Eden returned from her trip and posted a bunch of pic's on her Flick'r. It was really cool. Lots of shots of the kiddies with the Disney's. Nary a one of them with the psycho, however. She's probably keeping those for a rainy day in blog land. Can't blame her.

The babymomma has the baby back here. It's after 10 and Jeff went to bed. Why don't I go? Because she's waiting to jack my computer. Again. I asked her where she was cause I hadn't seen her. "Asleep!" she says. Dear goddess. Asleep at 7pm because you were up all night on my computer.

I know some folk know, but my DH has a habit I can't stand. It makes me crazy beyond crazy and I'm going to share w/the world at large.

We have satellite and we watch it. DH loves particulary the seriously boring stations like Discovery, DiscoveryScience, TLC, DIY (gak), and all those t ypes. I'm more the movie/BBC/Sci-Fi gal. Yeah, our tastes ( Read more... )

Mother's Day was a bit of all right. Had to work the bulk of it, but one of the agents brought a pot luck (by herself...is that a pot luck?) for the mom's she knew and I was on her list, so had a free lunch. Just a quick check in, since I seem to have some time for the first time in many days. Life seemed to ramp up there. I can't even believe it's May.

Work: What a grind. They added 2hrs daily of phone time to my duties, which makes work plenty interesting. The sad part was they didn't dial back any of the duties they had given us. In fact, I still did ( Read more... )

I took an extra two days off work, giving myself a four day weekend for my birthday.  Friday I did a bunch of running around. Saturday I cleaned so my father could come over and wish me happy birthday, Sunday I spent on the computer until evening when I went out with Kou and Bryseis (Woot!) drinking, and today I've watched too much "Charmed" season ( Read more... )
