Daphne rose before the sun had risen to prepare herself for the day. To her parents dismay she had informed them that she was leaving early to go celebrate with friends. Their shenanigans would have to wait until after she'd had a good day. She smiled as she dressed every once in a while looking over at the scrying mirror Uncle Rookwood had given her. He was too kind to give her such an heirloom.
Darkness slowly dissipated as the sun rose from it's slumber. The sky flooded with oranges, pinks and purples and a few beams peaked over the distant horizon. Just outside the window snow was falling in small white flecks. For a few moments she didn't do anything but place her head against the cold window and breath in the crisp air. The chill of the outdoors ran through her body as she sat on her windowsill with nothing but bloomers on. Finally, she turned to her mirror and contemplated what she should wear today. If she was just going to shop for something new, then it shouldn't matter, but she was seeing Draco first and she liked to look nice while around him.
As she was deciding she pulled her hair back, letting a few tendrils escape her jeweled hair clasp. She finally picked out a light pink dress. Still standing in front of her mirror, she pulled the dress over her head and let the silk and lace gently glide down her body. She tugged on it a bit before it perfectly accented her curves. Thoroughly pleased with the dress she tied a black ribbon about her waist; and then looking at the jewelry she had spread on her vanity table, she picked up a single wooden necklace in the shape of a heart. Smiling she placed it around her neck.
When Daphne was satisfied with her look, she threw on her blue cloak and headed over to see Draco. Aparating to the Manor, she took a deep breathe knocked on the doors.
