Friday at last

Stella's week had been nothing short of horrendous. The students had been out of sorts all week- either cranky or just too hyper. The result was that most of her classes this week had been long, boring, and nearly unbearable for both Stella and her students. Also, she had somehow made the mistake of assigning 3 essays all to be due on the same day, which meant she had been swamped in grading for most of her free periods on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and had missed her time for meeting up with Caleb in the middle of the week. She'd at least heard from him when she journaled to apologize for forgetting, but she hadn't seen him since Monday morning- another fact that had made the rest of the week seem unbearably long, as well.
So, by the time Friday afternoon rolled around, Stella wanted nothing more than to go home and soak in the tub until Caleb came home. 10 minutes after her last class ended she Flooed straight home, immediately going to start a bath. She relaxed in the tub for nearly an hour before finally getting re-dressed in her comfiest denims and a warm jumper, and curled up on the couch to wait for Caleb. He'd shown her how to work the DVD player, and so she popped in a movie to help her pass the time until he was home from the bookstore.
