Sunday afternoon found Evie where she normally was these days, in the boutique doing some kind of work--this time it was going through her old orders and creating a potential customer roster as she waited for Draco Malfoy. The last few weeks had been exceedingly busy for both of them, too busy for the promised meeting to examine the dress Evie had in mind for Narcissa Malfoy, but they both had a little free time this weekend and had arranged to meet that afternoon.
The shop was looking nearly-completed now--carpets installed, walls painted, art on the walls where the space was not needed for clothes, and of course garments on the racks and mannequins and displays. It was hip and colorful and reflected the vintage and trendy clothing on the various displays. A prominent one was the mannequin that wore the gown Evie had designed with Mrs. Malfoy in mind. It was part of the Witching Hour line, and she could always sell it to someone else if Mrs. Malfoy didn't like it, but Evie very much hoped she might.
As the shop was not yet opened Evie kept the door locked, but glanced up frequently from her work for Draco.
