Dear Mr Rhys,
You certainly created a stir with your recent editorial. Small wonder, after the inflammatory language you couched it in.
What does surprise me, however, is that the furor has died, and that you have let stand the rebuttals to your peculiar argument. It's true, I'm more in sympathy with your detractors, but I don't understand why one with such an earnest opinion wouldn't stand behind it. Have the "kindly pack" you spoke of, won their way into your heart? Was that earnest opinion possibly nothing of the kind?
