Off-Pitch Quidditch in Diagon Alley!
By “Pitch” Malbum

This reporter is ecstatic to report that fans of Quidditch as played by the British and Irish League have more reason to celebrate than Opening Day this coming Monday! A new pub in Daigon Alley is offering customers in the wizarding world the chance to enjoy Quidditch off the Pitch for the first time in a way that allows true connoisseurs of the Sport of Wizards the feeling and enjoyment of live Quidditch in a new setting.

For all fans, a trip to Finnigan’s of Diagon Alley to see this new off-Pitch way to enjoy watching and experiencing Quidditch is a must! At the preview for the Press and the Quidditch team owners of Q.U.A.C.K. last night it was clear that for those with the means to purchase them, home viewers like those at the pub will be showing up all over in wizarding homes of distinction! The impact of seeing a match on this new style of large screen viewer cannot be compared to any previous attempt to bring Quidditch to life outside the Pitch. It is truly an experience designed by wizards, for wizards, which is not to be missed.

Invited Guests enjoyed the replay of the most exciting League Cup game between the Montrose Magpies and Puddlemere United from last autumn.  As one who was there to enjoy all the Action as it happened, it is a pleasure to report that reviewing the match on the delightful screens available at Finnigan's - and no where else - was quite satisfactory.  The best plays could be seen from the best vantage points and all the points scored at all the goal posts with top of the Pitch clarity, excitement and involvement.  It is truly a review worthy of a wizard.

Loyal readers of The Daily Prophet Sports Section will be wondering about the methods used and the wizards responsible. While the Private Preview was most amicable, the technical details were not forthcoming, nor were the names of the wizards involved revealed despite razor sharp questioning by this reporter of not only the young owner of Finnigan’s, but also his equally young partner, Mr. Dean Thomas. They are, however, to be congratulated on the choices available from the wine cellar.  The orders for both viewers and favourite matches from years past seemed to be flowing as freely as the drinks from the bar.

Pitch’s Picks: Opening Day Next Monday! Don’t miss it!
