She continued to smile. "Yes, he should be arriving soon."
The smile disappeared and she returned to her folder. It looked like everything was in order, which meant she wouldn't have to keep Colin waiting when he arrived. He'd be as cheerful as ever, she thought, and probably very excited to be starting the new job....
Her head lifted again and she looked to Terry, who was staring at the window. She followed his gaze, then looked back, blinking.
"What?" Had she misheard him? Was she meant to hear him?

After Apparating to a safe point, Colin's black umbrella opened to shield himself from the rain. It wasn't a color (even if it wasn't actually a color) that the boy would go for, but it was cheap. Now that he had two jobs, he was sure he would get a decent amount of money. He's going to have to fix up his schedule, though.. and Colin was sure to be a lot busier.
He finally reached Hopping & Aperture's studio, gazing up at the shop with his usual bright smile. Despite the gloomy weather, his mood conquered. He shook some of the water from his umbrella and folded it before entering his new job. He lowered his umbrella, holding it by his side, and greeted the H&A staff.
"Morning."

The new employee looked just as bright as ever. Terry, resting his chin in his palm, smiled weakly. In the back of his mind he knew he should he off to the darkroom, but well... he felt like sitting for a few minutes and watching the rain fall. Rainy days were among the favourites of Terry-- he preferred them over sunny days, naturally. It was a nice day, really. Clean. Rain cleaned.

"Luna? Come with me into the darkroom." He didn't ask if she was busy- and seemed to realise that this was a possibility after a beat. Terry smiled and took another step towards the back corridor. "If you're not busy, I mean."

Luna stared at him a moment before smiling back. "Okay." So trusting, Luna was. Besides... she really wasn't busy. She stepped away from the desk and followed him with a vapid stare. What were they doing? Did he need help with something?
It was as they were entering the room that she remembered. "Oh, I forgot to bring my Dullahan cast for you to see. I'll run home on my lunch break and get it, if you like?" She smiled.
