it's been a little over 3 months since i started ex0rcizing and counting calories (albeit roughly), and it's paid off! since i started, i've lost exactly 20 lbs. it wasn't a rapid process, by any means, but since i'm doing it properly, it's weight that will continue to stay off as long as i keep watching my calorie intake. i'm down to around 191 right now (depending on how much i'm, um... retaining), and i might try to get down another 4-5 lbs, but that's about it. i don't wanna lose my tummy!
but my pants are fitting a lot better, and i feel healthier and more energetic. :D
