When you are the only human around that isn't aging, as everyone you love grows old and dies, everlasting life becomes a chore. But then again, he wasn't truly human. He was a monster. Most people still believed that. Except Cordy. Cordy had seen something in him that no one else ever had. She saw the man, not the monster inside. She believed in him--so much so that she'd become part demon for him. He smiled at the young woman in question. They still didn't know what that would mean for her, but one thing was for certain. They were together in this thing called life, whatever that entailed.
