So when the Elves departed Middle-Earth for the Grey Havens....they just went to Vulcan.
And probably mated with some Japanese colonists who happened to be there. Thus, a new super-advanced intelligent species was born.
Anyhoodle. I talked my brother into watching Star Trek: 2009. It was my fourth time watching it in as many days, but it seemed essential. My brother just had one question before it began:
"So, is it still pretty gay?"
"It's Star Trek, bro. With Kirk and Spock."
"Ah. Pretty gay then. Okay."
Damn straight.
And Doctor Who! Ohgawd! It started out all classic-y Doctor Who style. Fun and babbling and 'oh boy-oh noes-oh boy'!
And then it kind of dragged.
BUT THEN it went back to manic wonder and gleeful mayhem.
And then...and then....holy carp. What...what...
What a twist.
I already miss David Tennant a whole lot more than I should. Only one more episode D: BUT IT LOOKS AWESOME AHHHH. I'm gonna cry. The Doctor should go hang out with Spock for an episode. That would make me not cry! They could talk about physics and life in space and tight pants and pon farr. It would be great.
Supernatural was really good too. But it seemed more like a set-up for what's coming, and not as mind-blowing as The End was (while being reminiscent of it), which kind made it fall a bit short to me. And with the other things, it got kind of overshadowed in my mind. I'll have to watch it again, though I don't think Sam will be any less exasperating the second time around. AT LEAST DEAN AND CAS ARE AMAZING.
