So I started watching Glee on Sunday and finished last night. Because when I marathon, I really marathon.
I love all the musical numbers. Mostly because they are musical numbers and well-performed and they make the songs their own. If CCR had performed Proud Mary in wheelchairs, maybe they would have stayed together longer. Or something.
I love the rueful life of Will. He's such a nice guy D:
On the other hand, I'm not really interested in the Glee kids themselves. Even the episodes about them aren't really about them. And there really isn't a plotline beyond winning Bestest Gleers of the Year and zomg!babies, which makes me wonder why the show is so great. Except maybe that kind of explains it.
But then I think of Heroes, which is so over-ridden with plot upon plot upon plot that it makes one big mess of a thing(excluding the first season and, to some degree, this season).
Lost is terrible now because of the over-laying of plots and twists and I want it to just be OVER kthnxbai.
Supernatural lost a bit of its edge this season, IMO, because of how stuck they are on one Big Bad. Last season's Heaven vs Hell was there, but not overbearing. This year it rules all, except for the gag episodes. But, well, at least they coaxed us into it over 4 years. I guess.
So, in conclusion, yay Glee! Because it's not like the other shows and they can sing!
....Supernatural should totally do a musical episode.
