hot hot heat...
Wow was Sunday ever hot. I tell you, when we started filming around the Grand Canyon and it was nice and cool, we certainly didn't envision being perfectionist enough to reshoot/shoot additional scenes where we still have to wear the jeans and long sleeve shirts that we did then. So we both probably lost about 5 lbs running around outside over the weekend. Good times though.
I feel like I'm finally joined the Northern Virginia community at large in that, finally, I am seeing cicadas flying around. The noise is pretty cool, and so far none have flown into my mouth or ear, so its okay. I haven't really had any bounce off of my windshield. Nor have I eaten any... and nor do I plan to.
Looking forward to the long weekend. I'm actually taking vacation (!) on Thursday and Friday. And unlike my last job, I don't have to worry about supporting phone conferences on my days off. Ahhhh... so this is what a normal job is like.
