greatest invention ever...

In our weekly staff meeting today, this one guy was droning on and on about something (no idea what he was talking about). We had people conferenced in on the phone with an automated meeting set-up thingy. Apparently the meeting was only scheduled for an hour, because 55 minutes after the start (while the guy was droning on) the automated phone voice said "You have 5 minutes left until the meeting is over" and the guy started wrapping up his speech. Awesome! I need to get that automated voice on a tape recorder or recorded into my PDA, so when someone's talking to long I can just play "You have 5 minutes left" or something. It'd make the nonsense around here go a lot shorter. ;)

My officemate only listens to classical music and smooth jazz, so we set the office radio on classical. About midway through last week he got bored of it and put it on smooth jazz. I didn't think I'd mind, but man... I'm dying by degrees here. ;) The officemate himself is cool, though, but his musical selection I have to question.

Last year my sister, in her government job, VOLUNTEERED to go to Iraq for 6 months (and then extended for 2 more months). Crazy! And, mostly because I think she just doesn't like her current job, she's volunteered and been approved to head back there for 60 days. I'm not sure she's entirely mentally balanced, but its what she wants to do...

And finally, my illness seems to be disappearing. It peaked yesterday with lots of flem, sore throats and snot (MMmmmmm), but I woke up feeling much better this morning. Just in time to do some more filming this weekend! The first (crappy) trailer is like 1/2 way done... I'm sure I'll post when its finished and up on the Internet somewhere.
