Title: Princesses and Queens
Author: gamma_x_orionis
Prompt: Greek Mythology - Hera
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Lily/Andromeda
Rating: G
Word Count: 100
Summary: To Lily, she's a queen.

Andromeda was perfect; that was Lily’s conviction.

Oh, not entirely perfect.  The older girl was spiteful at times, too often forgetting that she was speaking to a Muggle-born and letting out some disparaging comment, but Lily knew her well enough to know that she never meant them to offend Lily.  And, unlike Severus, Andromeda at least refrained from using the word “Mudblood”.

But there was something about her, something that Lily so adored that she forgave the odd transgression, something that inspired awe and adoration in Lily.

Andromeda was named for a princess, but to Lily, she was a queen.
