I take her hand, turn it over, tracing the life line with the pad of my finger, exclaiming over the implied longevity. She blushes--the bright pink highlighting the green of her eyes.
I move closer, bringing her palm near my face. There is a faint fragrance of lotion, aloe and lemon. Her fingers are long and lovely. I imagine them inside me. Embarrassed, I laugh and let go of her hand.
She takes mine, slips it under the silk of her blouse. "Do you also read hearts," she asks.
