She was proud to have been part of the trio of teenagers who saved the world with Sarah Jane Smith on a weekly basis.
Maria considered herself even more fortunate to now be part of an even more select few; to know Sarah Jane intimately. Together they were something far beyond a mentor and friend and had a relationship that went much deeper than lovers.
