Six was beginning to lose patience with the woman who sat on the floor leaning casually against the wall.

“Do you want to die?” part of her was truly puzzled. Most humans clung to life with a ferocity that astounded her. This human didn’t. She ignored the fact she was in their power.

Laura Roslin looked up at her and carried on ignoring her. Six knelt beside her invading her space one hand gently running down the curve of Laura’s face holding her wrist in a grip tight enough to leave bruises.

“Laura. God loves you. He has a plan for you.”

“Gods. Six. The Gods have a plan for me.” Ending with a gasp of pain as the wrist was twisted to an unnatural angle.

“When will you learn that your childish belief is futile?”

Laura smiled serenely up at the blonde. “You want me to believe in your God. Your supposedly loving God who cares for you so much that he continually recycles you into you original body. Never offering you a chance to pass to the next plane of existence. Always yourself. Always the same body. Never to be with him. Or was that her? It?”

Six’s hand that had caressed her face slammed across it in a slap that had her literally seeing stars for a second. Laura shook her head to clear it and gave Six her patented ‘frak you’ glare.

“Your God is irrelevant to me. If that means my death; so be it.”
