Thank you nursedarry for the puppy v-gift! It was lovely to wake up to this morning.
What was not lovely to wake up to was the discovery that Stuart Broad has cut his hair. No. Wait. Not just cut his hair. Buzzed it. Just a few days ago, his hair looked like this.
Me: Stuart Broad has cut his hair.
Noe: So?
Me: *shows the picture*
Noe: Oh, dear.
Me: *morose silence*
Noe: *examines picture again* Hey, it looks like his hairline's receding--maybe he's having a Draco moment.
Me: *A Look*
Noe: He could be.
Me: *long, aghast pause* You know that Ashes sequel to Black Coffee I'm writing? Draco is so cutting his hair and Harry is--
Noe: Going to be as horrified as you are about Stuart?
Me: One takes out one's woes in fic, yes.
Noe: It'll grow?
Me: *whimper*
As Noe pointed out, it's likely he cut it for playing in the IPL. India's a wee bit warm, after all. But still. I MOURN, Stuart. I mourn. D:
