Thank yous and a slight headdesk
I just wanted to pop in and say thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes I got on Tuesday via email and LJ. *hugs* I actually had a bunch of tabbed LJ posts up last night that I was going through and replying to, but...er...my laptop died yet again on me in the process and I lost them all. *headdesk* But believe me when I say the well-wishes were very, very, very appreciated. I'm going to try to go through and find them again, but it might take me a bit.
As for the computer...well. Severus was named well is all I can say. Cranky, misanthropic bastard that he is.
I've an appointment this evening with the Genuis Bar but I'm fairly certain Severus is going back to Apple (for the third time in the past four months). I've managed to coax him into actually turning on today which is a win, but he's limping along, muttering curses at me, and part of the keyboard has just decided not to function. At all. Which makes it seriously difficult to do things involving typing like, oh, finish up my incredibly late Snarry Games fic, for instance. :/
Fortunately I have my ancient laptop, although it's a pain to write on since the shift key likes to stick. But still. It's functional. Or at least it was last time I went through this back in March. Er, I should probably check on that when I get home tonight...
